Workshop Sessions

Workshops are designed to be practical and give leaders tips they can implement next week or next month. Speakers have been selected from around the nation to provide a wide spectrum of content. A full schedule of workshops will be available in early April.

Pre-Conference & Super Sessions

    • Pre-Conference Sessions
      To register for a pre-conference session, select the topic desired during the registration process. Pre-conference sessions can be added to a registration that has already been submitted. Head to the registration form, enter the login credentials and modify the appropriate event registration.

      All pre-conference sessions begin at 9:00 on Wednesday, April 19th. Participants will have over four hours of time focused on the topic being studied. Lunch is included in the cost of the pre-conference session.

      Special Needs Ministry

      Presented by Joanie Belmonte

      Description: Including Children with Special Needs in Children’s Ministries

      In this session we will discuss some of the challenges children face coming into an environment with a predetermined curriculum, environment and routine. Participants will be taught how to develop and execute a plan which will identify needs, strategies and tools (including that existing curriculum) necessary to include individual children in class. Take a leap of faith into inclusion!

      Family Ministry

      Description: Family ministry is not a program or an additional ministry to manage. To effectively shape the next generation in the home, the church needs to adopt a family ministry philosophy. Mark will be sharing foundational insights on what it takes to effectively empower parents to take their rightful place to disciple in the home. Aaron and Dick will follow up with insights related to what effective components help churches become stronger at supporting the home and leveraging the times in the church setting.

      Evangelism & Outreach

      Description: This Super Session will present the following four focus points for effective evangelism and outreach: Engaging Kids and Families, Getting creative in your “Go” efforts, Building relationships with community leaders, and making a difference in the community you're in. Those attending will hear stories of how these focus points have been utilized to impact families both inside and outside the four walls of the church. They will also receive practical insights for implementing these focus points in their own places of ministry.

      Kidmin Leadership
